Supports and Tips for SMEs

Network Ireland Kildare Branch Event,

Tuesday 19 September 2017, Killashee House Hotel (Innovation Hub)

Eugene Forde of Enterprise Ireland will offer members an insight into Government supports for SMEs.

Network Ireland Kildare Branch is hosting “Supports & Tips for SMEs” networking event, on Tuesday 19th of September, 7.30pm, Killashee House Hotel. The Networking event is being led by Eugene Forde, Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, and will offer members insights into Government support for SMEs.

Eugene, who lives in Naas, has spent his career working within the Department of Jobs Enterprise and Innovation, and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, developing various aspects of economic policy. He is currently Head of Indigenous Enterprise Development, working closely with Enterprise Ireland and the Local Enterprise Offices. Jacqui Mc Nabb, Head of Enterprise, Kildare Local Enterprise Office will also give members a ten-minute talk on how LEO can support your business from services, training, mentoring, marketing & lots more.

Eugene Forde, Head of Indigenous Enterprise Development, at the Dept of Business Enterprise and Innovation, says, "My ambition is to see more Irish people starting their own business, and to see more businesses exporting globally. I will be speaking to Network Ireland Kildare members about the realities of developing your business and the Government supports available. The event will be as interactive as possible, and I welcome questions from the audience.”

Pauline Forde, Network Ireland Kildare President, says, “Our members are really looking forward to this event, there is so much support available to us – that we aren’t even aware of. It will be great to get the inside track from Eugene. I have no doubt our members will come armed with lots of questions, to get the most out of the session and get expert advice.”

There will also a short talk from Adrienne Mc Cleery, a Breast Cancer Ireland Outreach Nurse, as she educates Network Ireland Kildare members on what to look out for, so that it becomes normal for them to routinely check themselves. Adrienne will also tell members more about the charity, Breast Cancer Ireland, ahead of the Annual Charity lunch on Friday the 10th of November.

The event takes places on Tuesday evening 19th of September in the Innovation Hub at the Killashee Hotel, Naas, commencing at 7.30pm.  It is open to members and non-members.  Book early to avoid disappointment at Eventbrite.

This event is hosted by Network Ireland Kildare Branch in association with our supporters, Kildare Local Enterprise Office, AIB Bank and our media partners, Kildare Post.
